Welcome

Welcome to the Shawville and District Minor Hockey (SDMHA) website. Our association provides organized minor hockey programs mandated and sanctioned by Hockey Quebec and Hockey Canada. Our teams are for boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 21. Our programs begin with the initiation (MAHG) program that teaches the fundamentals of hockey and ends with the dynamics and adrenaline of fast paced Juvenile playing action.

The association accepts player registrations from the Municipality of Clarendon, Town of Shawville, Municipality of Thorne, Municipality of Bristol, Norway Bay, Quyon and Luskville with the defining border of Terry Fox Drive bordering the boundaries of the Aylmer Minor Hockey Association.

From Novice to Juvenile, all of our single and double letter teams are known as the Pontiac Lions. The teams are combined with players from the Fort Colounge Minor Hockey Association (FCMHA) and SDMHA. Each association is managed separately by their own Constitution, and individual Executives.

SDMHA Registration closes AUGUST 11
For the Mahg to Juvenile Minor hockey season.
(after which time players will be put on a waiting list)

Note: any player that is trying out for AA needs to registered with SDMHA prior to trying out for insurance reasons.
